During account setup I am required to supply a PIN. Where do I get my PIN?

The following information is for family members. If you are a counselor looking for your PIN, please reference this article.

There are three ways to get a PIN:

  1. Attend an online CGN activation event. Contact your school counselor or write to to find out how to register for an upcoming event.

  2. Reach out to your school counselor and request the PIN.

  3. Request your PIN by sending an email to with the subject line: Request Family PIN for [name of your school]. In the body of the email include your name, email address, name of your school and your student’s graduation year.

Note that the PIN is only needed to activate your account the first time. For all subsequent logins you will only need your email address and password.
